King's Game - KUBB
Kubb is a revival of an historic 400 year old game, played between 2 teams of between 2 and 12 players. Teams take turns to throw their batons across the Castle Arena to knock down their opponents' guards and gain the chance to attack the King. The Kubb game includes 6 hardwood batons, 10 guards, 4 corner posts and King. Known as either Kubb or King's Game depending on where you live, it is actually the same game. This game can be played on any surface; grass, gravel, sand, concrete or fairly even parkland. All you need is an area of approx. 6 x 4 metres. For ages 8+
